"Warning Shots Are Not Advised",

     Never fire warning shots.
You're not going to be on a multimillion dollar
range that will safely catch your bullets. 
Any shot fired into the air will come down
with approximately equal speed on someone's head.
Any shot fired into the ground will ricochet off
the concrete sidewalk, the asphalt road, or a stone
in the ground.
     But, more importantly, it's not legally
justifiable.  You're engaging in brandishing,
attempted felonious assault, improper discharge
of a weapon, etc.  If you had time to fire a
warning shot, you had time to run away.
     Never shoot to wound. 
Shooting in combat is a low probability event.
Shooting at an extremity is a zero probability event.
Which means you're going to miss.  Every miss is
destroying property and injuring innocents, perhaps
killing innocent bystanders.
     Shooting to wound is not legally justifiable. 
You're engaging in torture and mutilation (battery).
     Always shoot to the center of mass to
stop the attack.  Because you don't have time
to do anything else when in fear for your life.
Your only concern is to stop the attack.

     Please recognize that "No Guns Allowed" postings
infringe upon your ability to defend your
inalienable rights to life, liberty, and your
pursuit of happiness.
     Guns are the essential tools to defend life;
self-defense, defense of loved ones, defense of others.
     Guns are the essential tools to defend liberty;
defense against revenuers, defense against abuse of
power under color of law; remember Athens, Tennessee;
remember the colonial British in 1775 and 1812;
remember Mr. Bundy's cattle in Nevada.
     Guns are essential tools in the pursuit of
happiness.  This is an inalienable right.
Don't surrender this right to the liberal mindset.

     I had to take another driver safety class.
(Not court ordered, just for the insurance discount.
The class was for elderly drivers.  I'm 55.)
